Dragon Tournament Report 9th January 2011
The first dragon of 2011 took place on the 9th January at WIS. Snow, the festive season, and the school holidays all combined to keep entry numbers low.
In the under 11 event Harri Langley took first place, Harri has contested previous dragons and has obviously been practising, this time he managed the win from Shelby Short, who was runner up.
In the under 13 and under 15 events it was nice to see several new players from Swansea at the dragon. Indeed the top 2 places in both age groups were fought out by Peter Morse and Lawrence John , both of whom play together in the region. The matches were close but Lawrence managed to win both events from Peter who finished runner up.
The next dragon will take place on Sunday 6th February, entry forms available on the ttaw website .
