Rhydygors School took part in a freindly match against Cathays High School in Cardiff.
This was held on Thursday 9th June at Cathays High School and this proved to be a great match up and some great sportsmanship was shown.
This proved to be a very close match with Lars Calford (Carmarthenshire Schools Champion) and Justin Cole to be to strong for Cathays youngsters, but there were somebattles between the younger contenders. Cathays senior players played the two senior players of Carmarthan and proved to be slightly to strong winning all their matches.
The match finished 13-11 in favour of Cathays Academy, A very close game and very entertaining match with both parties enjoying every second of the challenge.
This was great for the kids and hopefully we will see a home fixture being played in the future.
