New Club in Ammanford!!!

With Table Tennis dying in Ammanford we have managed to open up a community club in a local primary school/community hall. The school has a large sports hall with a gym and changing rooms. It has recieved a community chest and will run a 10 table club twice a week open to all and the surrounding schools.<br /><br />Pob lwc!!

Hi All<br /><br />Just a quick message to say well done to all the volunteers, players, parents coaches and administrators within the West Wales region for all your hard work over the course of the season. Table Tennis in the area on the whole is going really well with community clubs all having a healthy interest. This season we have had players from the area represent Wales in every age category such as Ceri James, Lee Morgan, Matt Lancey, Josh Jenkins, Tom Heydon, Alex Francis, Stephen Gertsen, Paul Karabardak and Dean Cundy. Well done to all of you and long may this progress continue....<br /><br />If you would like to get more involved in Table Tennis within the area then please feel free to contact me. Carmarthen Table Tennis Club hosted another annual ‘West Wales Closed’ table tennis event for players from the Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire areas. Competitors were able to play in the Cadets, Juniors, Veterans (over 40’s) and Super Veterans (over 60’s) as well as the Doubles and the Masters competitions.<br /><br /><br />Cadets: Final - Paul Joules (Fishguard) beat Bronwen Lewis (Carmarthen) 3:0<br /><br />Juniors: Final - Max Clews (Swansea) beat James Lewis (Swansea) 3:0<br /><br />Veterans: Final - Sven Severeyns (Pentre Cwrt) beat Jeff Parsons (Llanelli) 3:1<br /><br />Super veterans: Final - Stan Eastwood (Carmarthen) beat Bill Haddon (Port Talbot) 3:0<br /><br />Doubles: Final- Ceri James & Scott Cundy (Swansea) beat Dean Cundy & John Francis (Swansea) 3:2<br /><br />Masters: Final - Dean Cundy (Swansea) beat Ceri James (Swansea) 3:1<br /><br /><br /><br />It was a long but very productive day for the competitors who had indicated they had enjoyed themselves.
