This weeks Premier Division saw leaders Penlan ‘D’ beat second place Penlan ‘A’ 22-18, Ceri James leading the way winning 9-2. In a close match Carmarthen ‘C’ narrowly defeated Carmarthen ‘B’ 18-17 despite Aled Rhys Howell winning 9-0 for the losers, the match was decided when David Lloyd won the last singles 3-0. Another close encounter saw Penyrheol ‘A’ beat Ammanford ‘A’ 22-18, Steve Wilson and Peter Champion winning the doubles 3-0 to secure the victory, Nigel Stopher winning 9-4 and Mike Rees 9-6 for the losers. Leaders Penlan ‘D’ defeated Penlan ‘C’ 27-14 with Dean Cundy winning 9-2. Penlan ‘B’ beat bottom side Penlan ‘E’ 25-12 with Josh Jenkins winning 9-2 and Luke Lyons 9-4.
In Division One Cam/Cabin ‘B’ defeated leaders Ammanford ‘B’ 27-11 with Graham Butler and Martin Evans both winning 9-2 and Gareth Evans 9-4. Penyrheol ‘B’ gained their first victory of the season by defeating Penlan ‘F’ 22-14 thanks to Daniel Moore winning 9-0.
Carmarthen ‘D’ defeated Llanelli 27-16 with Alan Griffiths winning 9-3. Cam/Cabin ‘A’ moved into second place after beating Port Talbot ‘A’ 25-15, Doug Smith winning 9-3.
In Division Two Penlan ‘L’ defeated the leaders Penlan ‘K’ 26-11, Steven Coope winning 9-1 and Keith Baker 8-4. Carmarthen ‘E’ maintained their challenge by defeating Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ 24-14 with Simon Packer winning 9-2 and Andrew Joules 9-3.
Division Three saw Penyrheol ‘D’ narrowly defeat Port Talbot ‘C’ 19-16, the match being decided when Gerald King and Josh Davies won the doubles 3-0. Leaders Penlan ‘M’ beat Friends of the Young Disabled ‘B’ 20-17, Matthew Francis winning 9-2 before teaming up with Peter Langley to win the doubles 3-1 to secure a narrow victory. Ty Gwyn beat Friends of the Young Disabled ‘C’ 25-9 with Selim Aydin and Arun Rai both winning 9-0. Port Talbot ‘D’ defeated Ty Gwyn 26-12 thanks to Kean Pac who won 9-2. Friends of the Young Disabled ‘C’ beat Carmarthen ‘G’ 21-16 despite Joe Rosie winning 9-2 for the losers. Penlan ‘M’ defeated Penyrheol ‘D’ 20-14, Peter Langley winning 9-0.
