LEE SUCCESS CONTINUES!! (Day 1 Cardiff Grand Prix)

Lee Morgan was the winner of the Band 4 singles beating Filton College pupil Andy Smith. Scott Cundy and Josh Jenkins were the Semi finalists there. Alan Monks, who is a Greenhouse coach, came out of early retirement to win both 5 & 6 banded events beating Cameron Thomas and Steven Slater respectively.

Irish duo Paul McCreery and Amanda Mogey were the winners of both band 1events respectively at the Cardiff Grand Prix. Paul, who beat Welsh number 4 Patrick Thomas in the semis, beat Wrexham based, but Polish national player Thomas Rzeszotko in the final. The Polish star beat Stephen Gertsen in the other semi final. Mogey, who studied at Glamorgan University, beat Chloe Thomas in the semi final before winning her final.

Hannah Avery was runner up in the women's band 3 singles. as was Ceri James in the men's band 3.
