The regional training squad has begun on Monday nights in Penlan, for the last 2 weeks the team have been enjoying a new training programme which incorporates Table Training, Multi Ball and a Service Table. Many thanks to the coaches Peter, Jo and Dennis for your assistance with the squad, not forgetting the mums and dads who travel from all over the area to bring their talented young players to the sessions.
Swansea & District League starts this week and also the Swansea Closed Championships takes place at Morriston Leisure Centre on Friday night and all day Saturday where we can look forward to seeing our talented players compete in this annual competition.
Also Congratulations to Lydia John and Tommy Heydon who have been selected to Represent Wales in the Namur Open in Belgium this half term, your hard work and commitment to training has resulted to this selection and you should be very proud!!! Well done both.
