Swansea Juniors are Champions of the Junior Team Championships of Wales Division 2. The team of Lawrence John (Penlan), Tommy Heydon (Mumbles), Marc Castro (Penlan), Mathew Francis (Penlan) and Alex Francis (Penlan). The boys played extremely well throughout the season with great team spirit. Without losing a match all season the boys proved outright there ready to move up to the top division.
In the 3rd division both Carmarthen A and B narrowly missed out on receiving silver medals. One of the team needed to win there final match to gain second place behind Wrexham. The A team lost out to Whitchurch and the B team were still playing against Bridgend B. With the score at 3-3 it was all on Lydia John from Penlan. Lydia at only 10 years old played out of her skin against a 15 year old from Bridgend to narrowly miss out 3-1.
Well done to all the kids who played extremely well throughout the season with great sportsmanship and team spirit.
