The second round of the Tudor Jones Cup saw Penlan ‘J’ beat a depleted Penlan ‘D’ 13-8, Lawrence John winning the all important game to secure victory and give him match figures of 6-1. Penlan ‘R’ made the most of their handicap to beat Cam Gears ‘B’ 14-8 with Tarrick       El-Hosaini and James Lobb both winning 6-2 and Kallum Ramsey giving useful support.

Penlan ‘H’ defeated Penlan ‘M’ 11-7 thanks to Thomas Heydon winning 6-0 and Stephen Coope 5-3.  Penlan ‘B’ secured a bloodless 10-0 victory over Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ thanks to flawless performances from Ceri James, Paul Karabadak and Neil Page. Tata Port Talbot ‘B’ beat Penyrheol ‘B’ 11-6 with But Wong and Kean Pak both winning 4-1.

The Premier Division saw Penlan ‘C’ beat Penlan ‘E’ 22-15 with Josh Jenkins winning 8-4.

Penyrheol ‘A’ recorded a narrow 22-17 victory over Penlan ‘E’, the match was settled when Steve Wilson and Paul Booth won the doubles 3-1.

In Division One Cam Gears ‘B’ moved into second place after defeating Carmarthen ‘C’ 26-15 thanks to David Davies winning 9-4. However Carmarthen ‘C’ are the new leaders after their 21-16 victory over Carmarthen ‘D’, Martyn Fenner winning 9-4 before teaming up with Rob Wilkins to win the final doubles 3-0 thus securing the victory. 

Division Two saw an exciting match between Penlan ‘J’ and Tata Port Talbot ‘A’ which saw Penlan secure a narrow 19-18 victory, Lawrence John winning 9-0 to level the scores at 16 all with the doubles to play, Lawrence then teamed up with Marc Castro to win 3-2 with the last game going to deuce to secure an exciting win for their team.  Penlan ‘K’ recorded their first win of the season when they beat Penlan ‘L’ 24-12 with John Davies winning 8-3, Liam Ford 6-3 and Larry Hursey 7-6, but the best performance of the night went to Keith Baker who won 9-3 for the losers.
