Swansea had a remarkable Newport Junior Open. Lee Morgan the pick of the crop winning both the cadet and junior boys. In the cadets final he beat Lewis Williams. He met Lewis once again in the semis of the junior event and then met fellow practice partner Josh Jenkins in the final. This wasn't going to be an easy task as Josh was on fire beating current junior number 1 and favourite to win the tournament Daniel O'Connell. Josh fell short at the final hurdle losing to Lee.
