The day kicked off with the U11. In the group stages Luca put on a fine display in a series of tight matches winning 3-1, 3-1, 3-0, only losing out to the no. 1 seed and highly ranked English player Sam Walsh. In the semi-finals in the knockout stages Luca produced his best performance but couldn’t overcome the eventual winner Tom McIntosh.
In the U13 Luca played some great table tennis and gained valuable experience but couldn’t match the older boys and went out in the quarter finals of the consolation event.
Overall a good day at the table and great experience for this young up and coming player.
