In this weeks Premier Division Penlan ‘B’ finished their season with a flourish in defeating Penlan ‘E’ 29-11 with Josh Jenkins winning 9-2 and Craig Henton 9-3. Ammanford ‘A’ beat Penyrheol ‘A’ 25-13, Nigel Stopher winning 9-1. Carmarthen ‘C’ gained a narrow 22-18 victory over Carmarthen ‘A’ thanks to David Lloyd winning 9-4. Leaders Penlan ‘D’ beat Penlan ‘C’
25-12 with Dean Cundy winning 9-2. Second place Penlan ‘A’ kept up the pressure on the leaders with an easy 30-1 victory over Carmarthen ‘A’.
In Division One Penlan ‘G’ maintained their challenge with a 27-10 victory over Port Talbot ‘A’ with Jonathon Francis winning 9-0 and Ben Mora 9-2, they then defeated Llanelli 28-9, Jonathon Francis, Max Clews and Ben Mora all winning 9-2. Leaders Cam/Cabin ‘B’ narrowly defeated Friends of the Young Disabled ‘A’ 20-18 while second place Cam/Cabin ‘A’ beat Penyrheol ‘B’ 29-12 with Doug Smith winning 9-2 and Randel Sims 9-4. Ammanford fought out an exciting 15-15 draw with Penlan ‘F’, Syd Bryce winning 9-0.
Division Two has new leaders in the form of Carmarthen ‘F’ after they defeated Penlan ‘K’ 26-13, Rob Clayton winning 9-1 and John Finnemore 9-4. Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ gained a narrow 18-17 victory over Jerusalem Baptist Church, the match was decided when Andrew James and Dave Archer won the doubles 3-0, Jeff Wood winning 9-1 for the losers. Penlan ‘K’ defeated Penlan ‘J’ 25-12 with John Davies winning 9-2 and Frank Smallwood 7-4.
Division Three leaders Port Talbot ‘D’ increased their lead with three fine victories, they beat Friends of the Young Disabled ‘D’ 29-3, Carmarthen ‘G’ 29-7 and Friends of the Young Disabled ‘B’ 30-9. Penlan ‘N’ moved into second place after defeating Friends of the Young Disabled ‘B’ 30-1. Penyrheol ‘D’ beat Carmarthen ‘G’ 20-14 thanks to Gerald King who won 9-0.
