Swansea League

This weeks Premier Division saw third place Penlan ‘C’ easily defeat Ammanford ‘A’ 26-13 with Martin Gunn and Matt Lancey both winning 9-1. Second place Penlan ‘A’ also recorded a clear cut victory over Penlan ‘B’ by 29-8 with Ceri James winning 9-1 and Neil Page 9-4.
Leaders Penlan ‘D’ easily accounted for Carmarthen ‘B’ 30-4 while Penyrheol ‘A’ defeated bottom side Penlan ‘E’ 30-4.
In Division One the leaders Cam/Cabin ‘B’ enjoyed two very good wins, they defeated Penlan ‘H’ 29-10 with Graham Butler and Gareth Evans both winning 9-2, they then beat Port Talbot ‘A’ 26-12, Gareth Evans winning 9-1 and Martin Evans 9-3. Cam/Cabin ‘A’ moved into second place after defeating Penlan ‘F’ 25-10 with Doug Smith winning 9-0. Penlan ‘F’ gained a narrow 20-19 victory over Friends of the Young Disabled ‘A’, the match was decided when Tony Holt won the last game 3-2 to seal the victory, Adam Morgan winning 9-2 for the losers.
Division Two leaders Carmarthen ‘E’ beat Penyrheol ‘C’ 26-10 with Andrew Joules winning 9-1 and Simon Packer 9-3. Carmarthen ‘F’ maintained their challenge by defeating Penlan ‘L’ 22-12, John Finnemore winning 7-3. Fourth place Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ maintained their challenge by defeating second place Penlan ‘L’ 28-12, Nick Couling and Dave Archer both winning 9-2.
Division Three leaders Port Talbot ‘D’ narrowly beat third place Penlan ‘N’ 19-15, the victory was secured when Kean Pac and But Wong won the doubles 3-0, Kean Pac winning 9-0.
