West Wales Closed - 23rd May 2010.

Carmarthen Table Tennis Club hosted another annual ‘West Wales Closed’ table tennis event for players from the Swansea, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire areas. Competitors were able to play in the Cadets, Juniors, Veterans (over 40’s) and Super Veterans (over 60’s) as well as the Doubles and the Masters competitions.


Cadets: Final - Paul Joules (Fishguard) beat Bronwen Lewis (Carmarthen) 3:0

Juniors: Final - Max Clews (Swansea) beat James Lewis (Swansea) 3:0

Veterans: Final - Sven Severeyns (Pentre Cwrt) beat Jeff Parsons (Llanelli) 3:1

Super veterans: Final - Stan Eastwood (Carmarthen) beat Bill Haddon (Port Talbot) 3:0

Doubles: Final- Ceri James & Scott Cundy (Swansea) beat Dean Cundy & John Francis (Swansea) 3:2

Masters: Final - Dean Cundy (Swansea) beat Ceri James (Swansea) 3:1



It was a long but very productive day for the competitors who had indicated they had enjoyed themselves.
