In this weeks Premier Division Carmarthen ‘B’ improved their chances of avoiding relegation by defeating Penlan ‘E’ 27-8, Aled Rhys Howells winning 9-1. Penlan ‘B’ also boosted their chances of avoiding relegation after beating Carmarthen ‘C’ 21-14 with Josh Jenkins winning
9-2. Penyrheol ‘A’ defeated Carmarthen ‘A’ 25-11 thanks to Denis Bromage winning 9-1 and Peter Champion 9-2. Leaders Penlan ‘D’ easily beat Ammanford ‘A’ 30-6 while second place Penlan ‘A’ beat Penlan ‘C’ 26-11 with Ceri James winning 9-0 and Paul Karabadak 9-2.
Carmarthen ‘B’ defeated Penlan ‘B’ 24-15 thanks to Aled Rhys Howells winning 9-1.
In Division One Cam/Cabin ‘A’ defeated the leaders Ammanford ‘B’ 26-9 with Doug Smith winning 9-0 and Randel Sims 9-2. Carmarthen ‘D’ beat Port Talbot ‘D’ 24-12, Martyn Fenner winning 9-1 and Alan Griffiths 9-3.
Division Two has new leaders in the form of Penlan ‘L’ after they defeated Penyrheol ‘C’ 30-4.
Third place Carmarthen ‘F’ beat Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ 22-17, the match was decided when Rob Clayton and John Finnemore won the doubles 3-1. Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ secured an impressive
27-3 victory over Penlan ‘J’ with Mary Wilkins and Gaynor Griffiths both winning 9-0.
Division Three has new leaders in the form of Port Talbot ‘D’ after they secured two victories,
First they defeated Friends of the Young Disabled ‘C’ 22-11 with Kean Pac winning 9-0, they then defeated last weeks leaders Penlan ‘N’ 18-14 thanks to Kean Pac winning 9-0.
Penlan ‘M’ narrowly defeated Carmarthen ‘G’ 17-16, the match was decided when Peter Langley and Peter Morse won the doubles 3-0, Peter Langley winning 9-0.
