New leaders of the Premier Division are Penlan ‘B’ after they beat Cam Gears ‘A’ 20-16 with Ceri James leading the way winning 9-1. Carmarthen ‘B moved into second place after an impressive 29-12 victory over Penyrheol ‘A’, Jason Peckham winning 9-1 and David Lloyd 9-3.

Penlan ‘A’ defeated Penlan ‘C’ 23-12 despite Josh Jenkins winning 9-2 for the losers.

In Division One Penlan ‘F’ narrowly defeated Llanelli 20-19 with Mark Haymer winning 9-4 before teaming up with Andy Coughlan to win the doubles 3-0 and give their team a hard earned victory. However despite losing the match Llanelli moved to the top of the league.

Penlan ‘G’ beat Carmarthen ‘E’ 24-14 with Tony Holt winning 9-2.

Division Two saw Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ record an exciting 19-18 victory over Jerusalem Baptist Church, the match was settled when Nick Couling and Andrew James won the doubles 3-0 enabling Dillwyn to gain a narrow victory.

In Division Three Penlan ‘N’ moved to the top of the division after beating Penlan ‘R’ 24-12, Lewis Towell winning 9-1 and Shankly Ismail 9-2. Penyrheol ‘B’ recorded a bloodless 30-0 victory over Blaen-y-Maes ‘B’ with maximum contributions from Graham Rees, Kevin Stevens and Alex Hopkins. 
 

Congratulations to the following who retained their titles in the recent City and County of Swansea Championships, Under 11 singles - Matthew Francis (Penlan), Hard bat – Martin Gunn (Penlan).

Other winners are, Under 13 singles – Thomas Heydon (Mumbles), Cadet singles – Thomas Heydon (Mumbles), Junior doubles – Bradley Abraham and James Lobb (Penlan),  Junior singles – Shankly Ismail (Penlan), Veterans singles - David Lloyd (Carmarthen), Restricted singles – Doug Smith (Cam Gears), Mens consolation singles – Craig Henton (Penlan), Mixed doubles – Alison and Dean Cundy (Penlan), Ladies doubles – Joanne Simeone (Mumbles) and Judith Whitton (Penyrheol), Mens doubles – Dean and Scott Cundy (Penlan), Ladies singles – Natasha Rees (Cam Gears), Mens singles – Dean Cundy (Penlan).
