Penlan ‘A’ defeated
Penlan ‘C’ 23-12 despite Josh Jenkins winning 9-2 for the losers.
In Division One
Penlan ‘F’ narrowly defeated Llanelli 20-19 with Mark Haymer winning 9-4 before
teaming up with Andy Coughlan to win the doubles 3-0 and give their team a hard
earned victory. However despite losing the match Llanelli moved to the top of
the league.
Penlan ‘G’ beat Carmarthen ‘E’ 24-14 with Tony Holt winning 9-2.
Division Two saw
Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ record an exciting 19-18 victory over Jerusalem Baptist
Church , the match was
settled when Nick Couling and Andrew James won the doubles 3-0 enabling Dillwyn
to gain a narrow victory.
In Division Three
Penlan ‘N’ moved to the top of the division after beating Penlan ‘R’ 24-12,
Lewis Towell winning 9-1 and Shankly Ismail 9-2. Penyrheol ‘B’ recorded a
bloodless 30-0 victory over Blaen-y-Maes ‘B’ with maximum contributions from
Graham Rees, Kevin Stevens and Alex Hopkins.
