The Premier Division
has new leaders this week in the form of Penlan ‘B’ who beat Penlan ‘E’ 25-12
with Paul Karabadak leading the way winning 9-1. Second place Penlan ‘D’
secured a narrow 22-20 victory over Carmarthen ‘B’, with the score level Martin
Gunn and Matt Lancey won the doubles 3-1 to gain the victory, Jason Peckham
winning 9-2 for the losers. In another close match Penlan ‘C’ defeated Ammanford
‘A’ 21-20, Luke Lyons winning 9-2 before Craig Henton lost the last match 2-3
but gained the points to secure the narrow victory for Penlan.
Penlan ‘A’ beat Cam
Gears ‘A’ 22-15 thanks to Scott Cundy winning 9-0. Carmarthen ‘B’ beat Carmarthen ‘A’ 22-16 with Jason Peckham winning 9-1 and
David Lloyd 9-3.
Cam Gears ‘B’ are
the new leaders of Division One after beating Carmarthen
‘D’ 29-10, Doug Smith winning 9-1 and Morgan Siddley 9-3. Llanelli defeated
Penlan ‘G’ 25-16 with Derek Summers winning 9-3 and Alan Pattle 8-5. Penlan ‘H’
beat Carmarthen ‘E’ 21-17 thanks to Thomas
Heydon who won 9-1.
In Division Two Cam
Gears ‘C’ beat Penlan ‘K’ 26-12 to go top of the table, Trevor Francis winning
9-1 and John Jones 7-4. Penlan ‘J’ remain unbeaten after defeating Penlan ‘L’
27-15 with Lawrence John winning 9-2 and Marc Castro 9-5. Tata Port Talbot ‘A’
beat Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ 21-14, James Prescott winning 9-2. Leaders Dillwyn
Llewelyn ‘A’ easily defeated Penlan ‘L’ 29-10 with Nick Couling and Dave Archer
both winning 9-3.
In Division Three
Penyrheol ‘C’ beat Blaen-y-Maes ‘B’ 24-13 despite Martin Alldrick winning 9-5
for the losers. Penyrheol ‘B’ became the new leaders after beating Penlan ‘P’
30-3, Kevin Stevens, Alex Hopkins and Graham Rees all winning 9-1.
In the Tudor Jones
Cup Ammanford ‘A’ recorded an exciting 12-10 victory over Ammanford ‘B’, Nigel
Stopher winning the last game 2-0 giving him match figures of 6-0. Penlan ‘N’
beat Penlan ‘P’ 12-7 with Shankley Ismail winning 4-1.
