Swansea Juniors are Champions of the Junior Team Championships of Wales Division 2. The team of Lawrence John (Penlan), Tommy Heydon (Mumbles), Marc Castro (Penlan), Mathew Francis (Penlan) and Alex Francis (Penlan). The boys played extremely well throughout the season with great team spirit. Without losing a match all season the boys proved outright there ready to move up to the top division.</div>

In the 3rd division both Carmarthen A and B narrowly missed out on receiving silver medals. One of the team needed to win there final match to gain second place behind Wrexham. The A team lost out to Whitchurch and the B team were still playing against Bridgend B. With the score at 3-3 it was all on Lydia John from Penlan. Lydia at only 10 years old played out of her skin against a 15 year old from Bridgend to narrowly miss out 3-1.</div>

Dragon Cardiff

The 6<sup>th</sup> Dragon Tournament took place on Sunday 11<sup>th</sup>
of March, sharing the Main Hall at the National Centre with the final weekend
of Senior Team Championships of Wales. Despite only being arranged at short
notice, 36 entries were received by the organisers across the 3 age groups.<br />

The Under 9s were first away, surprising spectators with
their level of playing proficiency for such young players. The final group was
closely contested, but in the end Joseph Roberts took the win from Jack ODuffy.</div>

The Under 11s saw more great play as Cade Short managed to go
“one better” than the last Dragon and take the win from Jack ODuffy who took
home his second runner up trophy of the day.</div>

The big entry of the day was the under 13s, contested by 20
players, including several new faces. However there were no surprises in the
final top group as Joe and Jack ODuffy were joined by Joseph Roberts and Morgan
Hams to battle it out for the trophies. Joseph Roberts came through on top to take
his second win of the day from runner up Joe ODuffy.</div>

Gold for West Wales

Well done Ceri James from Penlan table tennis club on winning a gold at the recent Welsh Championships in Cardiff. Ceri partnered with Daniel O'Connell won the Mens doubles championships beating Conar Edwards and Alex Prosser in the final. Also a huge congratulations to Alison Cundy on winning a silver medal in the Womens Veterans competition.<br />

<li>Lee Morgan of Penlan reached the semi final of under 21s losing out to Conar Edwards. Lee also lost in the Quarters to Lewis Williams in the Junior Boys.</li>
<li>Dean Cundy of Penlan lost out in the Semi finals of the Mens to Daniel O'Connell. Dean Cundy also partnered up with Claire Flanagan to win a silver medal in the Mixed Doubles.</li>
<li>Aled Howell of Llanelli lost of in the Quarters to Conar Edwards.</li>
<li>Thomas Heydon of Mumbles table tennis club lost out to Callum Evans of Rhondda in the Quarters of the Cadet Boys.</li>
