This weeks Premier Division saw an exciting match between Penlan ‘A’ and Penlan ‘E’ end up as a 21-21 draw, Scott Cundy winning the last game 3-0 for the ‘A’ side, this gave Scott match figures of 9-4. Ammanford ‘A’ beat Penyrheol ‘A’ 27-14 with Mike Rees winning 9-2.
Leaders Penlan ‘B’ remain unbeaten after beating Penlan ‘C’ 27-7, Ceri James winning 9-1.
Penlan ‘A’ secured a 23-15 victory over Penlan ‘D’ with Daniel Moore winning 9-1.
New leaders of Division One are Cam Gears ‘B’ after two victories this week, firstly they beat Ammanford ‘B’ 28-9 with Doug Smith winning 9-1 and Morgan Siddley 9-5, then Cam Gears ‘B’ narrowly defeated Carmarthen ‘E’ 21-17, Morgan Siddley winning 9-1 before Doug Smith and David Davies teamed up to win the doubles 3-1 to secure the victory. Penlan ‘G’ beat Ammanford ‘B’ 27-13 with Colin Towell winning 9-3. Penlan ‘F’ beat Penlan ‘H’ 21-16 despite Thomas Hayden winning 9-3 for the losers.
In Division Two Penlan ‘J’ just maintained their unbeaten record with a narrow 21-19 victory over leaders Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’, Lawrence John winning 9-3 before teaming up with Marc Castro to win the final doubles 3-0 to secure the narrow victory. Cam Gears ‘C’ also remain unbeaten after defeating Jerusalem Baptist Church 20-13 with Jeff Wood winning 9-2.
Penlan ‘L’ scored a narrow 21-16 victory over Penlan ‘K’ despite John Davies winning 9-4 for the losers. Jerusalem Baptist Church beat Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ 24-16, Jeff Wood winning 9-2.
Division Three leaders Penyrheol ‘B’ increased their lead at the top after inflicting the first defeat of the season on Penlan ‘M’ by 29-7, Kevin Stevens and Alex Hopkins both winning 9-1 and Graham Rees 8-5.
