This weeks Premier Division saw Ammanford ‘A’ narrowly defeat Carmarthen ‘A’, Nigel Stopher setting up the victory winning 9-0. Leaders Penlan ‘D’ beat Penlan ‘B’ 29-8 with
Lee Morgan winning 9-0 and Dean Cundy 9-2. Second place Penlan ‘A’ moved closer to the leaders by beating Penlan ‘E’ 30-4. Penlan ‘C’ defeated Carmarthen ‘C’ 24-15 thanks to Martin Gunn who won 9-2. Carmarthen ‘B’ beat Penyrheol ‘A’ 20-14, Aled Rhys Howell winning 9-0.
In Division One Ammanford ‘B’ went to the top of the table by defeating Llanelli 28-8 with Nigel Stopher winning 9-1 and Peter Wade 9-2. Carmarthen ‘D’ narrowly beat Cam/Cabin ‘B’ 20-18 in an exciting match which was decided when Martyn Fenner and Alan Griffiths won the doubles 3-1, Martyn winning 9-3.
Division Two has new leaders in the form of Carmarthen ‘E’ after they defeated Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ 21-12 with Andrew Joules winning 9-0 and Simon Packer 9-3. Port Talbot ‘B’ moved into second place by defeating Penyrheol ‘C’ 23-19, Carl Miles winning 9-3 and James Prescott 9-4. Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ defeated Jerusalem Baptist Church 23-11 thanks to Mary Wilkins who won 9-0 and Gaynor Griffiths 8-4. Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ beat Jerusalem Baptist Church 25-10 with Nick Couling winning 9-1 and Andrew James 9-2.
In Division Three Port Talbot ‘D’ defeated leaders Penyrheol ‘D’ 24-13, Kean Pac setting up the victory winning 9-0. Ty Gwyn defeated Friends of the Young Disabled ‘B’ 21-14 despite Chris Donovan winning 9-0 for the losers. Carmarthen ‘G’ defeated Friends of the Young Disabled ‘D’ 21-9 with Saul Anthony and Jim King both winning 9-0.
