During the Joe Morris Memorial competition held on the weekend on the other side of the hall a parents competition kicked off. With some big names and some big shouts coming from Joanne Evans it was all kicking off. Some strong competition from Dai Short and dark horse Rachel Heydon the competition turned serious. Judith Whitton one of the favourites showed composure throughout. Ones to watch for the future are Tracey Caplin, Gareth Evans, David John and Roger Lloyd. Few contenders dropped out like Norman Jenkins and a hungover Anwen Jenkins didn't feel up for the task. Well done to all the parents that took part. Pictures will be up online soon from the event so keep an eye out. Plenty of talent here now to take Betty Grays over 85s crown in the future!!!
Managed to get some pictures online early!!!
