In this weeks Premier Division Carmarthen ‘B’ narrowly defeated Ammanford ‘A’ 19-18, Aled Rhys Howell leading the way winning 9-0 before teaming up with Vince Dragone to win the final doubles game 3-1 thus securing an exciting victory for their side. Leaders Penlan ‘D’ beat Carmarthen ‘C’ 26-13 thanks to Lee Morgan who won 9-3. In another close game Penlan ‘B’ defeated Carmarthen ‘A’ 23-19, Josh Jenkins winning the last game 3-1 to set up the victory, with Craig Henton winning 7-5. Penlan ‘C’ beat Penlan ‘E’ 27-11 with Martin Gunn winning 9-0 and Matt Lancey 9-2. Penlan ‘A’ defeated Penyrheol ‘A’ 30-8 to maintain their challenge to the leaders.
A close result in Division One saw Cam/Cabin ‘A’ narrowly defeat Cam/Cabin ‘B’ 21-20, Doug Smith winning 9-3 before teaming up with David Davies in the doubles which they lost 3-2 but gained enough games to secure the victory. Llanelli defeated Port Talbot ‘A’ 27-8 with Tony Tappin winning 9-1.
In Division Two Carmarthen ‘E’ defeated Penyrheol ‘C’ 25-10, Andrew Joules winning 9-1.
Bottom side Jerusalem Baptist Church gained their first victory of the season in defeating Penlan ‘J’ 20-12 despite Liam Ferro winning 9-1 for the losers. Carmarthen ‘F’ remain unbeaten after defeating the league leaders Penlan ‘K’ 27-13 with Rob Clayton leading the way winning 9-1.
Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘A’ beat Dillwyn Llewelyn ‘B’ 26-11 despite Mary Wilkins winning 9-5 for the losers.
In Division Three Penlan ‘N’ beat Friends of the Young Disabled ‘B’ 22-11 thanks to Mar Castro winning 9-1. Penlan ‘M’ defeated Port Talbot ‘C’ 27-15 with Peter Langley winning 9-0 and Peter Morse 9-5. Penyrheol ‘D’ and Carmarthen ‘G’ fought out an exciting 18-18 draw, Joe Rosie and Saul Anthony winning the doubles 3-0 to bring Carmarthen level, Gerald King won 9-3 for Penyrheol.
